Does your projector have any lights showing on it? GREEN, RED, ORANGE?
- *This is not the flame/light on the board, but on the projector itself.
- If the projector has NO LIGHTS, this means it is not getting power or not plugged in.
-
Start by checking for power at the outlet or surge protector.
TROUBLESHOOT
1) First, try unplugging the power cord from the back of the projector...
- If you can't reach up to the projector, locate the black power cord coming down from the back of the Promethean board.
- LEAVE IT UNPLUGGED for 15 minutes, then plug back in and try powering it on again.
- If this unplugging/re-plugging moves the projector out of alignment, just shift it back and forth to the best fit, then re-calibrate.
2) If you already tried this, now try borrowing another teacher's remote to see if it powers on your projector.
- If a different remote works:
- Your remote batteries may be dead
- Your batteries are not installed correctly
- Your remote may be damaged
- If a different remote does not power-on your projector:
- Make sure the power cable (coming down from behind the board) is plugged into a working outlet or surge protector.
