SCSD Teachers: 
Follow these steps to login to Lightspeed and start a TeacherPLUS Session



1) First, LOGIN to your SCSD Gmail account...  

2) Open a new Tab, and Go to the SCSD Homepage...  www.scott.k12.ms.us 

3) Under STAFF, click LIGHTSPEED LOGIN ...  



4) Click Google authentication:  


5) Wait a few seconds... it should confirm "Login successful."



6) Now go to the site you needed for your class, Pinterest.com,etc - it should load.

If you get a 'page not found' error, click the REFRESH button on the toolbar:

7) This process only authenticates you to Lightspeed as a Teacher for an hour or so. When it stops working, go back to steps #3-5 above to start a new Lightspeed session.


**  If this still isn't working for you, there are 2 possible problems. Either:

1)  you are not signed-up for TeacherPLUS (contact Tim to find out)  OR

2)  there are multiple active Gmail logins in your browser


To clear all active Google sessions in your Chrome browser, do this from your Gmail tab: 

  1. Go to your Google Account control icon in the upper right - that reads SCSD Gmail.
  2. Click it and select "Sign Out" or "Sign Out of All Accounts" at the bottom of that drop-down list.
  3. Close out ALL open Chrome windows and wait... 
  4. ...Wait 10 seconds
  5. Open Chrome, then try again
