SCSD Teachers: 
If you are signed-up for Teacher YouTube Access, follow these steps to start a TeacherPLUS Access Session


1) First, LOGIN to your SCSD Gmail account...  

2) Open a new browser Tab, and Go to the SCSD Homepage...  www.scott.k12.ms.us 

3) Under STAFF, click LIGHTSPEED LOGIN ...  



4) Click Google authentication:  



5) Wait a few seconds... it should confirm your email/identity 
 (sometimes it won't show your email address, but it should still work):



  "Currently logged-in as <your email address>...


6) Now go the page you were needing, like pinterest.com - it should load.  If you get a 'page not found' error, REFRESH the page: Snap 2016-03-29 at 13.08.48.jpg


7) There can be an additional issue if you're going to youtube.com... If your user profile picture/icon isn't showing on the upper right, click the blue  Sign in  button at the top (right) of the page.












If your video loads as "Restricted", try to Refresh/Reload the page (If it still fails to load, your Lightspeed session has most likely expired, go back to the Lightspeed Login again. Your authentication lasts for 45-50 minutes from the time you Sign in, after which you may have to click Google Authentication again.



(Remember, if you're on a shared computer, be sure to log OUT of your Gmail account before walking away to clear your Teacher session.)




If you're still having trouble, you may need to clear all current/active Google sessions in your Chrome browser. 

Do this from your open Gmail tab: 

  1. Go to your account control icon on the far upper right (it's an icon showing your picture or your First Initial, if you've never added one). 
  2. Click it and select "Sign Out"
  3. Close out ALL open Chrome windows and wait... 
  4. Wait 10 seconds before you open Chrome again, then try again
